Sts Joan of Arc & Patrick School hosted its first Pint-size Hero blood drive as part of its service to the community during Holy Week. All of the parents were contacted, presentations were made to the entire school with help from Buddy the Blood Drop and "Thank you" cards were made to sent to the donors. The students and staff organized the canteen. The older students provided day care for the children whose parents were donating. The students hard work increased the total units of blood collected by 103 percent.

Coordinator: Beth Burns, Kokomo Indiana. Nominated by Toni Fox.
