Bad Weather Closing Information

It is important parents monitor weather conditions. The school administration is aware of the hardship which can be caused by an abrupt cancellation. Therefore, scholl will only be cancelled when a significant safety risk has been created by unusual circumstances. It is important that you monitor school announcements on your local radio stations or TV stations:

Radio:     WIOU - 1350 AM       WZWZ - 92.5 FM       WWKI - 100.5 FM     WSHW - 99.7 FM

TV:   Channels   6,   8,   13   and 59

Please continue to listen to radio announcements before leaving your child at school. Weather conditions are monitored and the first announcements begin at 6:00 AM This announcement maybe a two hour delay or cancellation. If conditions worsen, a two hour delay may be changed to a cancellation. Please monitor the information given on the radio before leaving for school.

If our school is not cancelled or delayed and other area schools are, please make the decision that is best for your family/situation. Our responsibility is to provide a Catholic education for children. Therefore, we will do our best to hold class even when weather is somewhat inclement. If you consider road conditions in your area to be extremely hazardous, do not bring or send your child to school. If you believe that weather conditions warrant staying at home, then please stay at home. We do not want anyone injured traveling to school.

If a tornado warning is in effect at dismissal, students will be kept on school grounds.
