Order Summer Solutions to Retain Knowledge & Skills

Sts. Joan of Arc & Patrick School recommends  SUMMER SOLUTIONS  summer practice books to help students retain knowledge and skill.

Students who use SUMMER SOLUTIONS workbooks three times a week throughout the summer return to school ready to build on the skills gained in the previous grades. SUMMER SOLUTIONS books are just $10 when ordered online by April 30. Order workbooks for your child at www.summersolutions.net   Enter school code JOP46902.

Order for the grade level your child is completing. Workbooks will be shipped to school and sent home with your child.

 

STSJP Offers Information Sessions

Sts. Joan of Arc & Patrick School is hosting information sessions about preschool through 8th grade classes at our fully accredited school at 1 p.m. each Monday in april and May at the St. Joan of Arc campus, located at 3155 S 200 W. If you are interested in learning about exceptional educational opportunities in a faith-filled environment, please call Development Director Sean Cameron at 865-9960 ext 303 or email scameron@stsjp.org to RSVP or request more information.

Early Childhood Roundup Set for March 21

Parents of children who will be 3, 4 or 5 years old by August 1 are invited to the STSJP Roundup Wednesday, March 21 in the St. Patrick campus gym. At 6 p.m., there will be a presentation on our preschool and prekindergarten programs, which serve children ages 3 and 4. At 7, parents may view a presentation on our kindergarten program. The roundup is open to anyone considering STSJP early childhood programs. No RSVP is needed.

Congratulations, Spelling Bee Champs!
STSJP hosted its annual School Spelling Bee on Feb. 15. More than 80 students from grades 4 - 8 participated in the Bee. After spelling "reminiscent" correctly, 8th grader Bailee Adams was crowned the 2012 STSJP Champion Speller. Bailee will represent our school in the Scripps Howard Regional Bee March 6 at IUK. Good Luck, Bailee! Kudos to fellow 8th grades Rachel Huemmer and Mackenzie Foye who placed 2nd and 3rd in our school Bee. 
Annual School Fish Fry on Feb. 24

Join us for a delicious Lenten dinner and support STSJP on Friday, Feb. 24. Delicious Dan's Fish will be served at our St. Joan Campus from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Enjoy great food and great fellowship with our STSJP family and friends!

Tax Deduction Available for Tuition Costs
 

STSJP parents may be eligible for a deduction based on education expenditures paid for each dependent child who is enrolled in grade K-12 in a private school. A qualifying child may be claimed for this deduction only once per year.  To claim your deduction, enter "Sts. Joan of Arc & Patrick School" and "B395" (our Indiana Department of Education identifying number) on Schedule 2 of your Indiana State Tax form.

Winter weather sometimes means unexpected school delays or closings. To receive text alerts when STSJP has a 2-hour delay or closing, enroll your phone at Channel 8 (www.wishtv.com) or Channel 6 (www.theindychannel.com). When we notify the television station, they will notify you!
STSJP Supports Walk A Mile Feb. 11

STSJP students and families are invited to Walk A Mile in support of Kokomo Rescue Mission's Open Arms Shelter by walking with our team on Saturday, Feb. 11 in downtown Kokomo. Students will raise money for the Shelter during Catholic School's Week activities including Jar Wars and Labors of Love. Please join us as we help families in need in our community.

Spaghetti Dinner set for Jan. 28
The annual STSJP Spaghetti Dinner will be from 4 to 7:30 on Saturday, Jan. 28 in the St. Patrick Parish Hall. Everyone is invited to enjoy a great meal and the fellowship of our community. Free will offerings will be gratefully accepted. To volunteer to help with the dinner, please contact Mr. Sean Cameron at 865-9960 or scameron@stsjp.org. See you there!
Safe Protocol Training
Safe Protocol Training will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18 in the St. Patrick Parish office. Any adult who works with students must have current Safe Protocol certification. For more information, please contact the school office.
